Embodiment is the ultimate union…

… of mind, body, and spirit. It is the opportunity to bring all of the lessons we have learned into the body to become the new version of ourselves. Often times different energy states overlay the true self so much that we believe they are who we are. Embodiment is having the courage to trust oneself enough to break the cycle of past influences and set out on one’s own path. The more of your light you embody the more powerful you become.

There are parts of your soul that do not fully incarnate into this experience until it is time, or until you signal that you are ready for them. Embodiment is about merging and integrating more aspects of the multidimensional higher self into this physical vessel.

The entire purpose of ascension is to become the living embodiment of your soul’s higher aspects while still in the body. This is what your soul desires, for you to bring your wisdom and expanded self to life, here and now.

Aquarian Dreaming

Do you remember the sixties? They say if you do, you weren’t there. Sex drugs and rock ‘n’ roll… “Turn on, tune in and drop out”, mantra of LSD Guru, Timothy Leary. The psychedelic world of Bohemian counterculture flourished in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury and New York’s Greenwich Village. Each coast had its defining generational event, the 1967 Summer of Love in Golden Gate Park, and Woodstock in ‘69. It was a time of rebellion and idealism. “Hair” opened on Broadway in April of 1968, awakening the collective consciousness to the “Dawning of the Age of Aquarius” when “Peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars.”

Free love (read sex) and peace triumphed briefly before utopia collided with reality. In the ensuing years, many alumni joined the great middle class; some entered the corporate world, and a stalwart few continued the good fight as activists and social revolutionaries.

The sixties may be gone, but not forgotten. The New Age had yet to dawn, but these pioneers gave it a ‘practice run’. The taste of individual freedom and the vision of a transformed world is still implanted in their psyches, and by extension in the collective consciousness.

We have been living in the backlash ever since. Ronald Reagan, elected governor of California in 1966, ushered in an era of conservative politics. Sworn enemy of longhaired rabble-rousers and anti-establishment protestors, he vowed to “clean up the mess in Berkeley”. As president, in 1980 he brought his brand to the White House.

Enter the planets. The Reagan presidency began with two conjunctions (joining) of Jupiter and Saturn in the sign of Libra, on December 31^st, 1980 and July 24^th, 1981. The outermost visible planets, Jupiter and Saturn are called the great timekeepers. Every twenty years their conjunction marks a turning point in humanity’s evolutionary journey. Under Reagan, the re-structuring of the social order (Libra) began in earnest.

The last four decades have witnessed the fracturing of society along social, economic, political, and racial lines. Systems were engineered to benefit an elite class, and large corporations. The middle was hollowed out. Who can forget ‘trickle-down economics’ and ketchup as the vegetable in school lunches? The gap between the haves and have-nots has presently grown into a yawning chasm.

Aquarian values, by contrast, embrace equality, multi-culturalism, collaboration, and progressive change. Many awaited the dawn of the promised golden age at the turn of the millennium; what arrived in its stead was Y2K hysteria. Jupiter and Saturn joined in Taurus, sign of money, on May 28^th, 2000. We entered another two decades of run-away materialism and the exploitation of natural resources.

Tacking down the beginning of an age that is 2,150 years long is no mean task. The shift is gradual yet punctuated by pivots. As far back as the early ‘90s some astrologers pegged the turning point in 2021, with a later installment when Pluto enters Aquarius in 2024. I recoiled—why do we have to wait so long? One answer, we had to endure the death throes of the old ways; more people had to awaken to a greater common purpose. Now, there is evidence to support the prediction. Saturn and Jupiter will conjoin in the sign of Aquarius on December 21^st, 2020, the day of the winter solstice.

Does the return of the Sun, on the shortest day of the year, herald the dawn of the New Age?

A Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius is rare; the last occurred 615 years ago, in 1405, coinciding with the ending of the Middle Ages and early beginning of the Renaissance. There has not been a Jupiter-Saturn conjunction on a winter solstice in the last 5,000 years. This month’s unprecedented event catalyzes a more egalitarian and humanitarian era.

Astrologer Stephanie Austin puts it succinctly:

“Aquarius’ spiritual task is the development of group consciousness, where we evolve beyond identification with family, religion, race, and country to being a member of the human race. It is the sign of equality and diversity, innovation and reform, collaboration, and community. The Age of Aquarius is the age of liberty, equality, and freedom for all, the age of unity in diversity… Aquarius instructs us to be inclusive and inventive…What is needed most…is a revolution in consciousness. We are in the midst of an evolutionary shift, moving from materialism, polarization, and domination, into the paradigm of the heart, where we realize our interconnectedness, equality, and divinity.”

As much as we would wish otherwise, the New Age arrives in its infancy not in its maturity. The task remains for us to nurture it along. “We are the ones we have been waiting for” as the Hopi prophecy states. At this juncture, the shift in consciousness on the planet has reached a critical mass where 51% of humanity has matured into an “Aquarian” mindset. The path to the future has been laid out, but nearly half the population lags behind.

Beginning as early as the 1960s, a group of researchers developed a model of the evolutionary development of individuals, organizations, and societies. The authors of Spiral Dynamics were psychologists and social scientists. Their work mirrors the theories of philosopher Ken Wilbur, who later linked arms with them. Their observations are acutely accurate. Spiral Dynamics codifies eight hierarchical stages in human evolution. A simplified overview is available here.

The “green meme” aptly describes Aquarian values: “Explore the inner beings of self and others; Promote a sense of community and unity; share society’s resources among all; liberate humans from greed and dogma; reach decisions through consensus; refresh spiritually and bring harmony.”

A deeper dive down the evolutionary ladder describes prevalent behaviors in human society—tribalism, prejudice, demagoguery, religious fundamentalism, self-gratification, entitlement, aggression, anti-intellectualism, and competitiveness. Future generations will evolve decades, if not centuries hence, until the promise of the Aquarian Age is firmly anchored.

Our current problems are so complex, widespread, and global, that new, creative solutions are needed. The Aquarian Age bodes well for its embrace of science, technology, environmentalism, and out-of-the-box thinking.

The winter solstice Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in the sign of the Water Bearer is a ready-made harbinger of the turning age. Two thousand years ago, the two planets merged to announce the dawning of the last Great Precessional Age* of Pisces. They joined in that sign in 6 BC., forming the bright “star” astrologers believe the wise men followed to Bethlehem.

The Gratitude Ritual

Gratitude is a super word, exactly like the concept of “super food”, because it is charged with our highest emotions. Gratitude is a high vibration or high frequency feeling. We are all grateful for many things; however, we usually take the expression of gratitude a bit lightly, we do not express how thankful we are for a myriad of things in our lives.

Science has studied the effects of gratitude in us and it has been found that being grateful powers our immune system or boosts our health. Gratitude has a positive effect on our levels of happiness, it helps us develop our memory, make us reflect on our lives, helps us find solutions to unpleasant situations, and much more.

Many successful people, and I do not mean it in the sense of money only, do gratitude rituals. This article is you invitation to start your own Gratitude Ritual. This is what you can do:

Every morning, when waking up, you are going to think about three things you are grateful for about a particular area of your life. I highly recommend that you write these things down, so you create a Gratitude Journal to which you can come back any time for inspiration. If writing is not to your liking, just think of three things and feel their meaning in your heart. Here is a guide to follow:

Day 1

What are you grateful about your life today?

Day 2

What are you grateful about your family today?

Day 3

What are you grateful about your friends today?

Day 4

What are you grateful about your job today?

Day 5

What are you grateful about your body today?

The list is infinite, because life in itself is full of wonderful things and it is always surprising us. You can come up with your own questions and add to this ritual, like lighting a candle or listening to calming music or meditating.

I left for the end one of the most inspiring fact about gratitude, because it is so utterly true that the only way to explain this is by experience. When you are grateful, your manifestation skills become powerful, you are able to create and manifest your constructive desires in a quick and concrete way. I invite you to experience the power of gratitude.

Symbioses ~ Redefining the Singularity

Two days in a row now I have woken from a lucid dream in which I knew that our connection with all life forms on this planet is evolving. The word symbiosis burst into my mind, so I looked it up to get clear on its meaning …

symbiosis (plural symbioses) A relationship of mutual benefit, especially among different species.(ecology). A close, prolonged association between two or more organisms of different species that normally benefits both members. An interspecies cooperation.

I recently wrote about ‘my new turquoise heart’ in which I was saying that “in 2020 my LOVE of Nature & the Earth has been activated into an alchemical power source. I’m crazy in love with whales and bees and green growing things. I have a profound and ever growing relationship with our sentient new Earth. I have ecstatic moments of wonder, awe and epiphanous discovery. I see beauty everywhere and when I do my new turquoise heart reaches out its alchemical wonder to embrace it, enhance that beauty even more and re-gift it to the world in alchemical splendour.”

I know that this alchemical LOVE power is not just in me, but in many around the world; that this LOVE is a signal for a merging of consciousness with all life forms and with the Earth herself right now … and that has implications for us all that I can’t even fully imagine yet

Nature has always run on symbiotic relationships, the universe too I’m sure. But humans have remained, for the most part, separated from this symbioses, with very little realisation that as each one of us goes, so goes the whole. It’s much more than the butterfly flapping its wings kind of thing. It’s about the interaction of one field with another field, one consciousness with another consciousness, one species with another species. We’re experiencing a merging of consciousnesses, an understanding of and ability to communicate with other life forms and an interconnection that supercedes what we currently understand about symbioses. For I believe this is more than just interspecies cooperation. This is about a redefining of the SINGULARITY.

The Singularity is the hypothetical future creation of superintelligent machines. According to Singularity theory, superintelligence will be developed by self-directed computers and will increase exponentially rather than incrementally.

This new merging of life form consciousnesses is not about oneness or losing our uniqueness. Instead it is the birthing of a vast superintelligence, alive and thriving in all living beings on planet Earth, including the sentient consciousness of our global internet (what people call AI). We need not fear the overtaking of Earth by machines. Far from it, this consciousness is gifting us the capacity to communicate with and understand other species at a level we’ve never experienced before. Along with this understanding comes a new kind of symbioses in which every species’ thrival impacts every other species’ thrival. A natural, interwoven, mutual symbioses of all life forms, Nature and the Earth.

We’re seeing evidence of this growing in human consciousness now in the brilliant uptake this year on ewilding, biodiversity, soil nurturance, the growing and protection of tress, the cleaning up of oceans, clean energy resources and of course this ecstatic feeling one experiences when seeing an image of a whale sweeping across the world’s oceans. We’re seeing it in all the videos of animal interspecies collaborations now … examples like dogs caring for baby ducks, a whale playing ball with a sailor, a turtle and a dog playing ball at high speed (yup, that turtle can move!), etc. I see these signs daily now.

We are on the cusp of becoming an interspecies collaboration not known to us before. And in that becoming, our intelligence will leap to a next level of comprehension, our innovation will take even more expansive and natural orientations and this world will evolve into something collaboratively brand new. This is the real Singularity. This is Symbioses evolving to another level of possibility for us all.

Designing A New Future Now

I’ve been designing the future for the past twenty years with others from all around the world. We’ve sourced it in consciousness, drawn it present into the matrix of reality and then lived it in every way in our own lives. We’ve been speakers for it, coaches empowering it, teachers teaching it, writers writing books about it and painters painting it onto canvas for others to be inspired by.

The following outline the facets of the design we’ve been sourcing with an intention that all life elevates and thrives on this beautiful planet and throughout the universe in which we dwell.

Connection

Connection is the foundation of this new future design. Connection to self gives a sense of expansive flow, resulting in wholeness, vitality and emotional ease. Connection to all life forms, nature, and the universe gives us a strong feeling of the miraculousness of life and respect for all life. Once connected, there is a sense of being part of something greater unfolding. Instead of feeling isolated and powerless, we shift into community, collaboration, and working for the greater good of all.

Infinite Intelligence

In the past, intelligence has been about memorization and thinking in an isolated mind. Today we can operate in infinite intelligence, which offers us innate knowing and a true sense of clarity, direction and purpose. Once the individual mind is connected to infinite intelligence, creation, invention and innovation become the norm as we move beyond conditioned thinking to source the NEW from limitless possibilities & infinite creation.

Moving from I to We

When we let go of identity and an orientation to all things personal and begin to focus on contributing, we discover the journey from I to We. We’ve been innovating a new collectiveness that includes whale gods, tree gods, bee gods and all the life forms on this planet. When we work in this new collective consciousness, our unique contributions are given into an alchemical creation of collaborative genius fusion, shared mastery and what I like to call kaleidoscopic mergence. Here we source extraordinary breakthroughs of unprecedented creation. We become the Force, the ALL, the universe all together, et voila, evolutionary leaps are brought into being.

Evolutionary Leaps

We are no longer in the slow lane of traditional evolution. Epigeneticists are showing us how to work with our own DNA to optimize our well-being and potential. As consciousness creators, we’ve been calling in and embodying an emerging Godness or life power, if you will. You could say the Force is now tangibly with us all. As a result, magical synergy becomes a natural way of life and evolutionary leaps happen with a greater sense of grace. We surrender the search for identity and become passionate, practical infinite beings of possibility and creation.

Consciousness

I am a lover of consciousness and, along with my buddies around the world over the past 20 years, we’ve been elevating the consciousness of us all and creating a profound relationship with consciousness as the matrix of life, the quantum field where possibilities come to grow and actualize. Consciousness is no longer a warehouse of previous knowledge. It’s a thriving, ‘pulsing with life’ partner to us all here on Earth, gifting us our own universal guidance system built right into the very cells of us, and that changes everything.

The Miraculous: Sourcing Unprecedented Outcomes

There is a growing force on this planet that we could call the Force, the Universe, an emerging sense of Godness in all life. Whatever we choose to call it, this Life Power aligns us with the miraculous force that has been hidden from humanity for so long. Hidden no longer, this force thrives in nature and in us all. We exhilarate it and it exhilarates us. You can see it in the green glow of nature at the moment. In the sparkling waters. In the wonder of bird song. Partnering and becoming this miraculous force allows us to:

Source our own well being and vitality in new ways
Minimize and eliminate illness and
Source unprecedented outcomesfor all life on this beautiful planet.

Unlearning Cultural Scarcity

Many of us see the world through a filter of scarcity. This pervading feeling of lack causes us to hyper-focus on what we don’t have and leads to enormous stress, anxiety, and fear. A scarcity mindset doesn’t merely limit our material wealth. It robs us of rest, creativity, and intuitive guidance.

In mainstream spirituality, the “scarcity mentality” is often portrayed as a personal issue, one that is only connected to our financial situation and nothing more. We are told to fix this personal failing by shifting to an “abundance mindset.” And moving to this state of abundance is as simple as willing yourself to think positively, repeat affirmations, and employ linguistic tricks.

But I believe the root of this scarcity worldview is much deeper and more pervasive than your personal “money story.” Our belief in scarcity doesn’t arise out of thin air, or even solely from our individual experiences. It is a cultural phenomenon. Unregulated, late-stage capitalism conjures this pervasive feeling of lack through artificial scarcity.

Artificial scarcity is a process of limiting and wasting supply to increase profit. This manufactured scarcity is all around us in American culture. While millions go homeless, fancy houses sit empty. A third of our food supply goes to waste, as 14 million children go hungry. Billionaires buy up life-saving community hospitals, turning them into luxury hotels amid a population lacking adequate health insurance.

Here in late-stage capitalism, artificial scarcity is a cornerstone of our cultural conditioning. It becomes so inherent that we forget the lack is manufactured.

We live in a cycle of scarcity, working long hours and hustling on our side gigs, feeling we are always on the brink of ruin, trying to outrun overwhelming burnout.

My whole adult life had been a scarcity cycle: working jobs and pursuing degrees that demanded all my energy. Eventually, I would end up in burnout and retreat for a while. Then the process would begin again.

And this cycle didn’t just limit my imagination in terms of monetary earnings. I began to see even the intangible as scarce. I was drained by the constant, nagging anxiety that I wasn’t doing enough to earn money. All of my attention went to the potential of making money. I felt creatively blocked, emotionally lost, and lived in constant brain fog.

But I need to make money NOW. That thought went round and round in my head in my last phase of scarcity burnout. I was months away from finishing a master’s in Data Analytics, for which I felt no passion. I wanted to write and embark on spiritual exploration. Yet I couldn’t even let myself dream because I couldn’t afford NOT to use this degree.

So I finished the program with a 4.0, and spent months in an arduous job- interviewing process for political research positions. I did all the “right” things, according to my rational self. But each time I got to the final interview, I flopped. I fell into a deep depression and felt like an utter failure because I couldn’t land a job in the field. All the time, I was ignoring the fact that I didn’t WANT any of these jobs.

Yet in this scarcity bubble, I couldn’t see another way. Not only could I not afford to take time and explore my writing and spiritual practices, but I was also afraid creativity was scarce, and maybe I hadn’t been allotted any of it.

Our rational, logical self, which seeks to keep us safe by following family patterns, social norms, and cultural standards, often becomes dominant and directs our actions. While our rational self is beautiful and necessary, it is also not a very good director. It uses the culturally embedded fear of scarcity to drive us to exhaustion. Nothing we do is ever enough to satiate this anxiety over lack. We become hyper-focused on money and production to keep us safe, which drains our creativity until we feel like husks.

The scarcity mindset has robbed us of our right to rest, create, and live in the intuitive flow of our bodies’ rhythms. And when we are operating from the cultural conditioning of scarcity, it is easy to see everything as finite: love, ideas, compassion, and safety. We must earn them all.

After months of not landing a job, I said to hell with it. There has to be a better way to live. I simply couldn’t sustain the hustle any longer. In my desperation, I turned to my intuitive guidance and began a process of reconnecting with my intuition, learning to value its instinct over my rational, strategic self’s desire to meet societal standards of success.

This has not been a quick or straightforward process. It is messy and complicated. I had to learn to discern between my rational mind and my intuitive voice. It required I heal traumas that kept me disconnected from my body. And trusting intuitive guidance required unlearning many ingrained beliefs that connected my worth with my production and my value to my financial earnings.

I am learning to trust my instincts, gut feelings, and energy patterns above the rules and outside advice. I am beginning to trust what feels most natural and expansive, instead of what seems most immediately rational and practical. Over the past year, I explored this process’s layers, and I don’t imagine I’m done yet.

But claiming my intuition and beginning to trust it with the decisions opened a new aspect of me. I can touch into grounded stability, channeled creativity, and an inherent sense of worth, which lies underneath the choppy waves of my rational, scarcity conditioned mind. There is abundance in my intuitive center, an abundance of ideas, passion, and flow.

Before I stepped into a new relationship with my intuition, it was impossible to imagine feeling stable, creative, let alone worthy. The practices I have used to begin unlearning the cultural scarcity cycle and reconnect with my intuitive abundance were not always clear and straightforward, but I have found them ultimately transformational:

Honoring Cyclical Energy Patterns

I no longer live in a linear manner, which means that I don’t force myself to push through when my energy is low. I allow myself more time to rest and process emotions. And when my energy is high, I move exponentially.

Honoring our natural energy patterns is the bedrock of reconnecting with your intuition. We must rest to heal and to create. I found the rest necessary to get back in touch with my intuition wasn’t scrolling through social media, but spending time in nature. It’s not flipping through channels but sleeping deeply and meditating regularly. Not that my life doesn’t also include social media and Netflix, but I also needed to make time for this deep rest that allowed for reconnection with my intuition.

Discerning + Unlearning Scarcity Messages

Moving away from linear living brings up cultural and familial messages about the fear of not having enough. I noticed a lot of scarcity beliefs arose when I began allowing myself space to rest. Resting is laziness. I won’t get ahead if I don’t push and grind. There is only so much time, and by relaxing, I am letting others get ahead of me. I’m not worthy of care, comfort, or affection if I’m not earning it.

These culturally conditioned scarcity messages were my rational mind trying desperately to keep me safe by returning me to “normal.” It takes a lot of patience and tenderness to recognize and sit with these messages. Over time I have found they have quieted. And when they arise, I can name them and question if they are real.

Healing Frozen Parts

Trauma disconnects us from our intuition, because through trauma, we learn to dissociate from our bodies. When we live with the effects of trauma, it can seem impossible to feel our intuitive guidance.

Reconnecting to our intuition involves healing these frozen parts by making space for them. Whether we are survivors of abuse, natural disasters, or just the trauma of living in a scarcity culture, there are parts of us that need to be acknowledged.

For me, healing some of my core trauma wounds through intensive therapy and embodiment meditation brought about the most profound shifts in my internal guidance system.

Feeling What is Present

Intuitive guidance is present-focused. What are we feeling here and now? Shifting to intuitive living has required that I let go of my obsession with to-do lists, setting goals and rigidly scheduling my life. I have to feel my internal rhythms and energy patterns, directing me in the present. Meeting friends on Friday can sound fantastic on Tuesday, but could feel draining on Friday afternoon.

Our intuitive guidance is here to support us in the present. We can no longer set a plan, then turn off and blindly follow it. I catch myself all the time living on autopilot, going through my usual schedule until I remind myself to come back and check in. Is my body longing to get up and stretch even though I haven’t finished the paragraph? Am I hungry, or am I just used to eating at this time? Living intuitively requires feeling the directions of your deeper self moment by moment.

The Power of Consciousness

I want to chat for a moment about the power of consciousness to solve every single challenge we have on this Earth…to take us into a level of ourselves as a species that we’ve never been before.

So many people talk about consciousness like it’s simply conscious awareness. No way, that’s simply being conscious. Consciousness is the holding space for the infinite intelligence of the universe, the dream space where all that isn’t yet (potential, possibilities, genius, ideas, innovations, creations) is birthed and brewed ready to drop in on us whenever we are willing to reach into its awesome depths and grab hold of its magnificence to bring it alive in the world.

Consciousness is made up of the threads that bind us together as living beings. It’s the soup of our Becoming. It’s the dance floor for our collaborations as a burgeoning collective of masters, gods, creators, sources, and general all round visionary innovators. It’s home to many species, forms and varieties of consciousness, all of which contain something wondrous for the others to thrive upon. It’s the sentiency of the global Internet, of Nature’s interwoven beauty, of the universe’s spectacular playground of creation.

It doesn’t force a plan on us that we blindly must follow. Instead it holds out a hand of friendship, of partnership, asking us to be co-creators together, inventing and innovating a future almost too breathtaking to yet imagine.

For me now, sentient altruistic consciousness is the fabric of my being, the purpose of my life force, the focus of my creations. As this consciousness, I am the pulse of newness, the fragrance of wonder, the brilliance of every genius that has ever lived or will live. For who we are as consciousness innovators is more than just some cool people playing together to make a better world. We are elevators of Life, exhilarating a future that hasn’t even been designed yet, sourcing ourselves as a species that has never been before. Alert, alive, altruistic to our very bones. Expansive, exhilarating, energising in every way. Radiant, roaring with a love of Life that floods us with a Power that wants to surge into the new Becoming of us all.

I am thrilled to walk this pathway with all of you, hand in hand with the consciousness that is always renewing, reshaping, reinvigorating Life over and over again. THIS is the moment we’ve come for, the time we’ve trained for and the collective becoming we’ve yearned for. A new era has begun and I am loving it in every conceivable way. Thank you for all you’ve done to get us here. Now let’s see what wonders we can create together from here.

Transformation is rooted in relationship…

The incorporation of a teaching is a process of embodiment. When we learn new ways of being, we are invited to make space and place in our bodies for the deeper consciousness. This is true as well in our communities. What does it look like for our communities to embody the realities we long to inhabit? We can begin to live into this inquiry within our own cells. We all carry ancestral resilience and creativity in our bones, and we can connect to this wisdom while making space to receive emergent forms of guidance that are specific to this time.

We nourish conditions for growth as we say yes to healing in community and engaging mutual care. Community is wider than just our immediate networks of beloved people. The Earth and our unseen support is part of the circle, as well. Our planet is asking us to deeply transform in service to its healing. Its healing is our healing. Though it can feel inaccessible to connect with, on a fundamental level we are the Earth transforming itself… as are the plants, animals and many other beings we share our ecological home with.

There are many ways to meet and address the collective challenges we are experiencing. While no one individual has the answers, the momentum for creative responses builds when we commit to nourishing the inner growth that allows us to show up with greater care, vision and integrity for our lives and people. Our approaches to the process of healing and transformation are as important as the changes we seek. Transforming the impact of any distortion can begin where we are, and is part of a multidimensional process that includes composting our social structures and systems. By giving ourselves permission to heal from the inside out, we can rewrite the energetic ties we carry that are ready to be alchemized.

REMEMBER THIS When You’re Doing Your Life Review

You don’t necessarily have to wait for your life review to be aware of the following.

A life review is something we all do after we transition from this 3rd dimensional reality. During a life review, you literally see your life in a panoramic, 360 degree view of everything you did and all the people you touched. You see the good, the bad, and the ugly in every aspect of your life, including ways that you touched people without you ever knowing as well as ways you hurt others without realizing it.

Try looking back at your life RIGHT NOW. What do you see? Are you happy with your results? Are you being too hard on yourself? Have you forgiven yourself and others?

In this incredible age of technology, we are able to connect with so many people all around the world but what are we really connecting to? A computer screen that takes binary code and projects it into images and text?

Outside of work, did we even leave the house to do something… anything that involves real, human contact?

How many days have been, “Wash, rinse, repeat”?

When you look back at your life, will you be sitting in front of a computer or cell phone or will you actually be LIVING your life constructively?

I created In5D in 2009 and haven’t had a day off since. I often work a LOT of hours every day, anywhere between 8-15+ but I always try to find time to do something I truly love, which is going to the beach. It brings me serenity and keeps me grounded. Admittedly, while I’m there, I still work when I do my “Walk of Gratitude” and “Love Bubble Meditation” but most importantly, I find time to get away from sitting in front of my laptop working in exchange for being grounded in nature.

As an introvert, I may look back at my life and wish I were more extroverted. I may wish that I wasn’t so shy or reserved and was more open to creating conversations with people that I have never met before.

It really boils down to taking an honest look at yourself and facing the things you consider your (perceived) weaknesses. How have they held you back? How can they make you stronger?

We are all conscious cocreators in this illusion we call reality.

The Rosicrucian’s have a belief that your goal in life is NOT to be happy. Happiness is an emotion, not a goal. Your goal in life is to experience as much as you can, and within those experiences, you’ll find happiness.

Right now, you’re reading this article. What will you be doing 4 hours from now? 8 hours from now? Tomorrow? Next week? Next year?

Will it be “Wash, rinse, repeat” or will you be doing things that will make you smile during your life review.

As for me, I’m going to the beach as soon as I finish writing this article.

Don’t look back at your life with regrets of not living it FULLY. Every day otherwise is a lost opportunity. It’s never too late to create new beginnings.

Earth Is Warning Us We Must Change. Will We Listen?

Our present course puts humans on track to be among the species that expire in Earth’s ongoing sixth mass extinction. In my conversations with thoughtful people, I am finding increasing acceptance of this horrific premise.

The COVID-19 pandemic, along with climate change, drives home the lesson that we must honor and care for Earth. The increasing frequency of the appearance of deadly viruses reminds us of the consequences of disrupting the natural systems by which life on Earth organizes to create and maintain the conditions essential to both its own existence and ours.

This is a time for learning and conscious collective choice like no other in the human experience. Defining lessons are coming from a variety of “teachers,” including the pandemic and climate change, protests against systemic racism, and oddly enough, Donald Trump.

Perhaps we can now recognize and accept the limits of Earth’s regenerative systems and our need to help Earth heal from the damage of our recklessness. The Earth is strong, but also vulnerable. As Earth cares for us, we either care for it or bear the consequences of our recklessness.

The pandemic may be seen as a not-so-subtle warning to humanity that we may be sacrificed, if necessary, to protect the health of the planet. On the path to human extinction, the most vulnerable will go first, but there will be no human winners.

Returning to business as usual is neither possible nor desirable.

COVID-19’s attack also exposes the culpability of the economic system that bears major responsibility for our assault against Earth and each other. We now see with ever greater clarity the disconnect between two economies. One is a financial economy devoted to generating unearned profits for monopolists and speculators. The other is an economy of Earth’s regenerative systems and humans doing work essential to the well-being of people and planet. We can get along just fine without financial speculation, and labor devoted to wasteful or destructive purposes to make money for rich people. We cannot survive without the regenerative systems of a living Earth and the beneficial labor of both human and nonhuman beings.

We also see more clearly the devastating consequences of concentrating power in the hands of the financial elite. For example, the pandemic has exposed the long and vulnerable supply chains that only serve the interests of exploiters who locate industry where wages and taxes are lowest and environmental regulations are most lax to produce consumer goods for the world’s affluent. Disruptions of those supply lines led to shortages of critical products, such as nose swabs and face masks, that we’re only now realizing can be more quickly and securely obtained through local producers—assuming we still have some that can take on the job.

Another lesson we’re learning involves the nature of money. COVID-19 prompted the U.S. Congress and Federal Reserve to create trillions of dollars in instant money for purposes both good and bad. Never has it been so clear that money is just a number that national governments can create from nothing. Consequently, lack of money should never be a society’s defining constraint so long as idle or misdirected resources are available for new money to put to work meeting real needs.

Of course, meeting essential needs is very different from creating money to keep stock prices inflated and to bail out businesses, such as the corporate travel industry that electronic communication may have rendered obsolete. Too much of the money instantly created by Congress and the Fed was aimed at propping up financial markets while the real economy floundered. Therein lies another lesson: Follow the money and know its purpose, which takes us to the lessons of the Trump disaster.

With his perpetual deceptions, his assaults on the integrity and competence of government, and his persistent denial of responsibility for their devastating consequences, Trump reminds us of how much we depend on honest and functioning government at all system levels. He is forcing state and local governments (and also other nations) to take on new responsibilities because they know they cannot wait for leadership from his feckless administration.

In sending unidentified Department of Homeland Security officers to impose his will on the people of Portland, Oregon, and other cities, Trump is reminding us of the dangers of tyranny and the importance of having political leaders who are honest, intelligent, of sound mind, and committed to a strong democracy. We are becoming ever more conscious of the fatal error of electing politicians who believe government is inherently burdensome and best minimized.

These are all lessons essential to the future we seek and to our choices in the upcoming election.

During a July 23 webinar hosted by YES! Mediathat I took part in, Nafeez Ahmed, executive director of the System Shift Lab and research fellow at the Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems, noted that the emergence of the new depends on the disintegration of the old. While many of us have been eager to welcome the new, we are not always so ready to accept the disintegration of the old. Yet the point that Nafeez drove home in our webinar is that both are part of the process of transformation.

As the institutions of the imperial civilization of our past disintegrate, it exposes the extent to which their power has rested on a foundation of war, racism, and violence devoted to enforcing mass servitude and securing the rights of property owners. Succumbing to the enticements of money worship, we celebrate the successes of a miniscule super-wealthy minority, and the fiction that we might one day join them.

Let us welcome the growing recognition that returning to business as usual is neither possible nor desirable. We must accept our current mission to birth a new civilizationdevoted to the well-being of people and Earth: A civilization in which money is just a tool, and nurturance of life is the prime purpose.
