About the Artist:

I began my art career late in life, in Jan 2020, aged 46. Throughout my working life I’ve always painted but never believed I was any good.
I’m a self-taught, full time artist.
Acrylics and inks are my mediums of choice; however I do dabble in mixed media.
I’m drawn to cityscapes & villages from all of my travels. My Art is able to transport me back to a moment, smell, touch, a feeling, sounds. Edinburgh is a particular favourite, it warms my soul painting it, having had the joy of living there for many years.
The lines of buildings, windows, nooks & crannies, draw me in, and if I see a pinch of colour in a photograph I’ve captured of a building, place, scene, I’ll accentuate it on the canvas paper.
Wishes:
- To continue to strive to better myself.
- For my Art to colour peoples lives all over the world.
